I was born in St. Petersburg into a family of theatre actors.
Since 2014, I have been living in Budapest.
I write in both Russian and English. My work has appeared in Verses of Silence, Flying Ketchup Press (the anthology Tales from the Dream Zone), Otherwise Engaged Journal, Budapest Local, Narratives of Budapest, and If We’re Talking Budapest.
In 2020, my short story collection On The Set was published.
I am the publisher and head of Panel Literature Association, where we publish the Panel magazine and books, and organize festivals, workshops, and exhibitions.
In 2025, I launched a writing workshop (in Russian). Twice a year — in autumn and spring — a small group meets in Budapest over ten sessions to discuss their texts and develop their craft.
Working across two languages is central to my practice. I’m interested in how writing changes with language — and how to preserve one’s voice within that change.
